Construction of Corroded Tower Kainji-Jebba
The Kainji-Jebba Transmission Line is a critical component of Nigeria’s national electricity grid, spanning approximately 300 kilometers and connecting the Kainji hydropower station to the Jebba substation. In recent years, several towers along the transmission line have been identified as exhibiting severe corrosion, posing a significant risk to the stability and safety of the power supply.

The construction of the Corroded Tower Kainji-Jebba project aims to address this issue by replacing the corroded towers with new, structurally sound structures. This project involves a comprehensive assessment of the affected towers, followed by the design, fabrication, and installation of the replacement towers. The project is expected to significantly enhance the reliability and safety of the Kainji-Jebba Transmission Line, contributing to a more stable and secure power supply for the region.
